MISSION AND GOALS
New York State Chapter Mission Statement
The New York State Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation priorities, and goals are as follows:

- The conservation of the American Wild Turkey
- The conservation of our outdoor resources and habitat
- Preservation of the turkey hunting tradition.
- To embrace and pass on the values of respect, personal responsibility, land stewardship, and the sense of family gained by the outdoors experience.

The New York State Chapter works to accomplish it's mission by working in conjunction with the NWTF, New York State Local Chapters, New York Dept. of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), other National/State/Local outdoor conservation organizations, the countless efforts of our many volunteers, and forging relationships to unite these groups towards common goals.

The New York State Chapter is a not-for-profit, educational, conservation organization comprised of state and local volunteer affiliates working for the restoration and wise management of the American Wild Turkey.
