CURRENT ALERTS |
Local Chapter Leaders: Please watch for your 2011 Super Fund Survey in the mail. Surveys will be mailed to Local Chapter Presidents the week of August 2, 2010. The NY State Chapter Super Fund Committee establishes a Draft Super Fund budget based on the information submitted by Local Chapters from this survey. It is critical to the budgeting process that these surveys be returned to our NWTF Regional Biologist at the address on the survey. If you are a Local Chapter Committee member please make sure your Chapter President is aware that these surveys are being mailed and that your chapter responds no later than August 25th.
Some Local Chapter Presidents will receive the survey by email if their email address is known. If the survey is not received in the mail or by email by August 9th, please contact Doug Little by email at dlittle at nwtf dot net or by phone at 518-239-4427. |

NEW YORK STATE NWTF |
The NWTF NYS Chapter was formed in 1976.
Since 1985 we have spent over 1.6 million dollars on conservation and hunting heritage related activities here in New York State. Our average contribution over the past few years has been approximately $100,000 on these efforts. Local NWTF Chapters raise the majority of this money through their annual fund raising banquets and membership drives.
Here in NYS the NWTF Chapters and volunteers are involved in the following activities and projects: Wildlife Conservation at the State and Private Landowners levels, Youth events, Scholarships, providing Education Materials to public schools, Food for the needy, Women in the Outdoors events , Wheelin' Sportsmen events, and other related Conservation and Hunting Heritage activities.
Currently the combined NYS membership is approaching 6,000. Please consider joining us, you'll be glad you did! |
